Outside my window::: A beautiful sunny day. The backyard is green and beautiful. We have light pink roses on one side of the yard and honeysuckle on the other side. I’m thankful I don’t have allergy problems!
I am thinking:::About my daddy. He is in the hospital and doing good but I haven’t been to see him and I’m feeling guilty and sad about it.
I am thankful for::: So much. My daddy’s health, my mom going back to work after such a terrible time in March and April. The house I live in and the people that allow it. My husband and my kids.
From the school room::: Finishing up! Friday could be our last day. I can’t believe it really. With all that this year has thrown at us we are finishing earlier than normal!
From the kitchen:::Nothing. Friends are coming over for dinner tonight and they are bringing it with them! How great is that?
I am wearing::: Khaki capris, blue t-shirt and socks (of course)
I am creating::: A list of the school books I will need next year. The homeschool convention is coming up in a couple of weeks and I need to get things in order.
I am going::: To New Orleans in June. The Southern Baptist Convention is there this year and Stephen and I are going. We are excited!
I am reading::: I am actually between books right now, finished one last night and haven’t started one yet this morning. I do read Jesus Calling daily. It is a great devotional book, it really is a must have!
I am hoping::: To get to Goodwill today. I just know there is a bargain there I need to grab.
I am hearing::: An X-box baseball game, sounds of David shooting his gun, Daniel humming and the dryer drying. Anna is quiet, not a worry now that she’s 8!
Around the house::: Toilets are cleaned, floors are mopped, dusting needs to be done
One of my favorite things::: The tooth fairy remembered to give Anna money for her lost tooth. Daniel pulled it for her and then lost it when he was rinsing it off in the sink. She didn’t think the tooth fairy would visit because there was no tooth. But she was wrong, and I didn’t forget!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Lunch with a couple of friends a couple of days this week. Clean up day at Liberty this weekend.
