Meet Shaun

This is my single co-worker and church friend, Shaun. He and I have so much fun bantering back and forth. He takes what I dish out and scoops it right back up and hands it back to me. He is a keeper for that and many other reasons, which I will share on this post. He was kind enough to allow me to highlight him on Kelly’s Korner http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/for her singles link up. His last words to me about this were, “This better not be an embarrassment!” I trust I will do my best to make it not be, but I make no promises!

The first thing you need to know about Shaun is that he loves Jesus and the Boston Red Sox. He asked Jesus into his heart at age 8 and is still seeking and serving him today at age 26. Shaun graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in digital media and design. When he is not busy creating masterpieces for our customers he is hiking, watching the Red Sox, playing basketball, horsing around at the lake or beach, and watching movies. He is full of life and loves to travel. His favorite place to visit is Boston, of course!

I sort of feel like this is a “want ad” in the personal section of the newspaper, and that is not my intention at all, nor his. He is a very respectable young man and would love to find a young lady who loves Jesus and adventure. I told him I was going to find him a woman and so I am trying all legal and non-real bad- embarrassing avenues to achieve my goal! Ha.

Shaun’s favorite passage is Psalm 13 and I think knowing this about him is a great glimpse into his heart:

How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Look on me and answer, LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the LORD’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

I think Shaun would be a fun guy to get to know. He is always up for adventure and a laugh. I trust he will make a great husband and father someday. I know he desires to be both. Comment here if you would like to know how to get in touch with Shaun. I would love nothing more than to see him find true love!

Celebrating and decorating with purpose is my favorite thing to do. When I am not filling a tree with ornaments or throwing a birthday party for my golden doodle, I am being mom to a super cool tween son, the wife to a fine blue eyed man and selling real estate. I call northeast Arkansas home and when I am not loving on my people or celebrating in our space, I am using words to express myself here or on my podcast. Be sure to follow me! 2. Hi! You left me a comment about my sister Alyssa – I think there's potential here too!! If he's interested, have him email Alyssa at aka91@msstate.edu. She has already given me the go-ahead to share her email address with you 🙂 Her one hang up about this is that she won't feel as \”pursued\” because it was a set up, but I know the right guy will take the lead! Thanks for the comment – this could be good!
