Remember me?

Its school time and I love it!!

I love the school supply aisle at Walmart so very much! The pencils, notebooks, folders, erasers, pencil boxes, backpacks, paper, pens….

It could be a sickness.

Speaking of school, I found my first friend in first grade on facebook over the weekend. I was so very excited to find her.

Her, not so much. She didn’t even remember me. She finally said she remembered my hair and that I had freckles. I think she found our class picture, still couldn’t remember me, so she just stated the obvious.

Oh well! I have fun memories of her, aparantely she, not so much.

Which brings me to this little story. It has nothing to do with school, but does have something to do with people not remembering me.

Friday, Anna and I went into a local gift store to request a door prize for a women’s conference we are having this weekend. I have browsed and shopped in this store many times over the years we have lived here. The owner has always spoken to me and checked me out when I purchased something.

But Friday, she didn’t remember me. She even asked if I had ever been in her shop before. I assured her that yes I had, and reminded her of who I was. Well, I tried to remind her, she had no recollection of me.

I wish there was a class picture for that.

Celebrating and decorating with purpose is my favorite thing to do. When I am not filling a tree with ornaments or throwing a birthday party for my golden doodle, I am being mom to a super cool tween son, the wife to a fine blue eyed man and selling real estate. I call northeast Arkansas home and when I am not loving on my people or celebrating in our space, I am using words to express myself here or on my podcast. Be sure to follow me!
