Summer Of The Sick – Part II

If you read the post following this one you know that Daniel is sick now.

I took him to the doctor this morning and he also has mono.

2 down, 2 to go!

Stephen had to be in Pine Bluff for a couple of meetings today, so in between the meetings he was able to take David to the dentist for me while I was at the doctor.

David did good at the dentist and I felt better that he wasn’t alone. Not that he would have known he was alone. But I would have known and it would have made me a wee bit sad.

Thanks for your prayers and sweet comments. I’m hoping that Daniel begins feeling better and can be fever free by Saturday so that he can go to church camp on Monday. Pray with us please.

Celebrating and decorating with purpose is my favorite thing to do. When I am not filling a tree with ornaments or throwing a birthday party for my golden doodle, I am being mom to a super cool tween son, the wife to a fine blue eyed man and selling real estate. I call northeast Arkansas home and when I am not loving on my people or celebrating in our space, I am using words to express myself here or on my podcast. Be sure to follow me! I am the co-author of a blog called Life with My Sister and have a podcast called Abby As-Is. You can also follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube.

  1. I had mono in 8th grade and my science project was due. My Dad did my science project while I was sick and I turned it in when I got back to school. I got an \”A\” ! Only \”A\” in science I ever got. I watched him do it, so I could have done it myself if I had wanted to. I just didn't want to ! I'm praying for Dan The Man to come bouncing back in time for Camp.Y.D.
