Didn’t you just love the pictures of Henry? He is so cute and smells so good!
I miss him. I crave him. How can that be? He isn’t one of mine. My friend Jill said it would be like this though. She said I would love him as much as I love my own and she was right. I do. I must make a trip to Jonesboro soon and very soon.
It was so weird being at the hospital all day Wednesday. In the same hospital where my three sons were born. I tried to get Abby to change rooms so that Henry could be in the same room as Samuel, but she would not do it. Such a party pooper.
Anyway, it was weird being there. Me being the one that had to wait (and wait, and wait). I didn’t make anyone wait that long! HA! I even said I would rather be the one having the baby than the one sitting in the waiting room. I think I may need medication or something. Because that just doesn’t sound like something a sane person would say!
Today Abby and Randall took Henry to the doctor. Henry is a little jaundiced so he is wearing a little lamp-like thing for the next 24 hours to get that under control. They say he doesn’t seem to mind it a bit. As with anything, his parents mind it more than him.
Abby is tired, but resting. She is enjoying being a mother so much during the day, but not so much at night! Hopefully they will have a better night tonight. You know how those hospitals do. They keep the baby there until he wakes up and then they send him home. It just isn’t fair!! HA!HA!
Keep them in your prayers!!!!
I will be praying! I remember those sleepless nights.

I am so glad they are home! My 2nd son had to have the light thing as well. He liked it because it kept him nice and warm. There was only one problem…when the light came off and his color was under control his sleep habits were all messed up. I will say an extra prayer that all goes well for them.
